If Carling made anime clubs...

I'm seriously considering starting a new anime/manga group in my local area. I've got a strategy to attract people and I hope there will be enough interest.

Apart from the usual 'watch some anime' what else does anyone think goes into making a successful/fun-to-go-to club?

Where is your local area?

Trading dvd's manga with other members, going to events together, renting out cinemas or screening rooms to watch anime movies.

Stuff like that

Northants, north of the county. There was a club over in Northampton (would've been ideal) but it seems to be dead now.

Thanks for the suggestions, like the idea of renting out cinema screens.

Cheers!
