Sorry guys. This is just a vent. But MAL is seriously ******* me off recently.

Firstly, MAL itself. Why the **** does it take a year to load my own profile page? Why is it sometimes it just WONT load my own profile page? How the **** do I check for comments or even edit my list when its being so retarded? Yes. Im having this problem right now. I've rebooted my PC twce, my internet alot more, and I've tried using different Browsers, but still no joy. And yeah, the rest of my internet works perfectly.

Now onto MALU. Yes. I downloaded MALUpdater so it would automatically play me the next episode, rename my files and keep them organised, and as a fun little app to use. But oh no. It couldnt be that simple. Earlier in the week half my list wouldnt show up, and now, well it wont even retrieve my list. Ive been trying to get it sing 12.30 and its not quater past ******* one. Will I EVER watch Code Geass?

Why dont I just play it myself you ask? Cause MALU renames the files, if I dont open it with MALU, then my folder gets horribly unorganised. ****s.

Erm, i went and had a look on the site myself a minute ago, and it worked alright for me. Only thing i can really think of is that it may have something to do with your internet provider, though i could/and probably will be wrong on that one. As for the updater, i can't really say at all on that note, i've never thought it something worth getting, specially when i'd rather choose when to watch something when i please than have it link into the next episode for me, and i like to know where i put my files, and what i called them. Erm, other than checking out their Updater club, you could always try asking on their IRC page.

Well after reinstalling etc. I have finally got it working. However MAL has, predictably started dying again. I dont get why my internet hates it. I cant imagine it being my provider cause it used to work perfectly. Only thing is like seriously, I shouldnt have to spend 45minutes getting a friggin' app to work. Problem is cause MAL is such a bastard, I cant really get on thier club page to post the problem. Seriously.
 
I'd say it's either your something odd with your connection or MAL Updater. I don't have MALU and I've only ever known MAL to go down once a couple of months ago. Does the site always go slowly for you? How long has it being going on?

It's been a good few weeks now that MAL has been playing up. Its getting really bad lately. I cant even scroll far enough down to see my comments. MALU is now going through its retreval problem again.

I cant load up my Anime List properly either, it tends to take ages to load, and then fail to load it all.

I do think, but I cant be sure, it works better of a night; Which would suggest its a problem in my connection but everything else works perfectly.
 
It would seem no one can load my profile up fully.

I just asked a friend to try and he failed so, can you guys try accessing my page? I cant get to the comments box. This is what I get;

Ah, when loading, mine goes like that on occasion. It just totally forgets that it has more to load. I use Chrome, and I just checked with Opera and it did take a few more seconds for it to load correctly.

Do you load the Profile directly ? I go to my list first, then click onto my Profile ?

Just tried with Firefox (PlusNet are my ISP) - the whole page loaded in about two seconds. :lol:

I'm talking minutes here. Not seconds. Seconds wouldnt bother me.

I'm using Tiscali and a few of my friends are having problems loading my page. Its odd. Only if I can load my MAL page fully will MALU work, which is very annoying.
 
Yeah, sometimes MAL only loads half my list or does that weird profile thing like in the screen to me too. It's very fustrating. I think it might have something to do with peak times (and it being a sunday), maybe.

It's working now during unsocial hours. Like 2100-2130 onwards. Next time it ***** up il try the Proxy server.

I have AVG installed btw.

little off-topic, but since you did mention AVG, do you have the patch for vista along with it? I don't know how useful it is(since i can't get the damned patch to install on here), but it should stop AVG from doing anything stupid on vista, as it used to stop downloads from finishing and such.

Funny though because last time i had AVG on, my comp went to hell speed wise, taking about a few minutes to load up a page on the forum, i got rid of it and the speed returned.
