So hey guys and girls, The names Rohit but that's Riggy to my friends. I'm from Solihull and I think, I think I may just be the only anime fan here (please prove me wrong =D)

So yeah, Anime...Hmmmm. I guess my first proper anime would be Gundam 00, which I started around 2 years ago and since then I've jumped on the whole manga and anime train. Currently making my way through the last few episodes of Blue Exorcist.

Erm I suck at these intro things, so if you've got something ask, don't be shy!

I totally look forward to getting to know you all =D.
 
Howdy patna! I think we have a couple guys from the west midlands on here (judging by a recent discussion we had). But the really important question: Do you write mum or mom??

Hello Riggy. Any new member who actually manages to post outside of their own introduction thread before buggering off deserves a welcome.

Seen any more Gundam outside of 00? There's plenty to choose from if not...

Yeah apart from both seasons of 00 and the movie, I've watched all dubbed episodes of Gundam Unicorn so far, a little bit of Gundam Wing and tried getting into Gundam Seed but the mech animations in that were a little off putting.
 
I think we've had a better hit rate recently, but the number of people who simply have one conversation in their intro thread and are never seen again you wouldn't believe.

Forget Seed. The Universal Century is where it's at (there's your reading material, there will be questions later). Not seen Unicorn yet myself, I'm waiting until all parts are out and a full set is released.
 
Fair enough, UC Gundam are the original ones, right? I've got like a passing familiarity with them through the Dynasty Warriors Gundam games.
 
Yup. What with the disappearance of Blackwolf and Kupocake it feels like there aren't so many of us keeping the Gundam fire alive - So it's always nice to be able to introduce someone else to the older shows (but only if you're actually interested, of course).
 
I'll probably give them a try but I'm not one for old animation hahaha. I'm more a modern Gundam Fan =D.

There is some thing run by people at one of the local Universities (I forget which one off the top of my head, maybe Aston) that I have meant to check out, but... I haven't, yet.
