Hiroki Endo's Eden, it's an endless world

Insanity prelude

Brigade Leader
Hi everyone

I began reading this a couple of weeks ago (i'm up to volume 5, 6 is on the way) and i want to know if anyone else is reading this and what their opinions of it are?

I think it's great so far especially finding out how the virus has changed the world (and cyborgs). Eden in the first book was a great way to introduce the series i just wish that Mr endo had stuck with Ennoah and Hana for a bit more of the story.

The action is good although it seems like it keeps trying to surpase the last thing and if you lose a limb your going to die soon, unless you're a cyborg

I've not read it, I've been contemplating on reading it for a looooooooooong time, I think I should actually pick up on it sometime... is it worth buying the volumes or should I just read it on the internet?

I picked up the first one a while back. It was... ok. Maybe I'm too used to dsytopian/post-apocalyptic settings, but the plot didn't really catch my attention. Also, the characters didn't get that much development (the world and setting got more), which left me not especially caring what would happen to them. It's certainly got potential to improve later, but there're just more interesting series I could be reading at the moment.

I thought the first volume was alright. Have read the next two volumes and they were much, much better as the action gets seriously nasty and hardcore. *hugs*

Really, really like it... need to get volume 4 sometime.

I've only got Volumes 1 & 2, but I'm really liking it. I've been looking to find something that can fill the void that Akira left, and this may do it.

I agree with what Ramadahl said about the characters, they could do with a more development, especially at the beginning. But I'm assuming that will come with time.

It was always shrink wrapped and a little more pricey, so I could never check it in the store, but I found an unsealed one in Foyles (London) I think. Then luckily, saw it cheaper in Orbital Manga (again, I think ... or maybe Gosh :? )

Either way, so far I'm happy, reminds me of Appleseed and Akira
