Synopsis
Hyōdō Issei is not perfect boy friend material since he is a dim-witted, lecherous high school student but he manages to actually score a first date. Then the girl kills him. Issei then finds himself reincarnated as a devil and finds himself in the role of an underling for an even higher-level devil in the shape of Riasu Gremory, the prettiest girl in school.

High School DxD is based on Ochiei Ishibumi’s light novel of the same name with Tetsuya Yanagisawa (Kyoshiro to Towa no Sora) directing, Takao Yoshioka (Elfen Lied, Ikkitousen, Zero no Tsukaima) writing the scripts and Junji Goto handling character design. Larval Stage Planning (Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu Ni) are providing the theme song. Yuki Kaji (No.6) is voicing Hyōdō Issei while Riasu Gremory is voiced by Hikasa Youko (Mio in K-ON!).

The anime will premiere on the 6th if January.

Errr...is this a porn movie? I think the whole of that second trailer was made up of pulsating breast noises.

I did get a good laugh at 1:15 in the first trailer, is that girl doing the pussy face? (that sounds awfully crude of me, but I honestly don't know what else to call it.)
 
Weird that this started well before KoreZom but is just getting an anime now. OK, not exactly the same, but still. If it's even nearly as entertaining, I'll watch it.

Firstly I'm probably old enough to be your father, or grandfather depending on your age.
Secondly, I don't know what difference it makes what my health is to the matter of the topic here, but seeing as I appear to be a grumpy old git, cheer me up by telling me what the smutty joke is in the title because I can't see it due to a twitch in my eye. :wink:

I would guess your age to be maaaaaaaaaybe old enough for you to be biologically possibly my father, but I don't want to speculate on your sexual habits and the legal ramifications that may or may not be involved in them.
 
So a Jin Kazama lookalike gets killed and brought back to life and fights demonic high school girls? I might be sold on this, though the fact that it has so many ecchi tropes is a bit of a turn off for me.

"Double D" to me means the "double D" of "Ed, Edd, and Eddy" or Double Diamond. You old enough to remember Double Diamond? I've never heard it, or read it anything more than that, but being a parent and also having started life as a child, I will hazard a wild guess that maybe in a childs mood of potty humour the two Capital D's could be ASCI for breasts? Am I close? If so, what does the X mean then, or am I suppose to ignore it? Oh, this is like being on the playground back then again. What memories? (sigh). :lol:

I'm not too sure you meant what you were implying in that last bit, but I'm sure your mother is, or was a decent person regardless, and I don't think she would have been too pleased with that remark either. :wink:

You know, as embarrassing as it is I have to admit that my humour still isn't advanced enough to fully comprehend all of Illmae's (presumably) witty posts...I actually thought Mohawk had a genuine eye twitch or something when I first read this... and I still don't get it....

Hmm, there's no shame in that, I guess. I still don't know what FTW or IRL or even the ASIC in your post, or pretty much any internet abbreviation other than lol, lmao or IMO (that is 'in my opinion' right?') means. I would have thought double d has been pretty common for a while though, just how old are you? You surely can't be older than your thirties (possibly very early forties?)....I am intrigued, it would be awesome if we had someone in their mid-fifties on the forum!

I thought he was only suggesting that you may have been having sexual intercourse from the age of twelve or so (in order to be old enough to be his father), which isn't all that uncommon, unfortunately....or have I completely misunderstood yet another ilmae post, damn it.....


Hmm, reading back on my post now, I don't think I'm helping in making this thread any less bizarre. Oh well, I've typed it now so I going to still press the Submit button, but I've really got to stop going online at 2 in the morning.....

Watched episode 1. I was promised boobs and blood and that's what I got.

Nice to see that where I watched it, it didn't have the annoying white bars of light that the trailers had (I only saw it once, which was to cover up the downstairs). Not that I thrive off seeing animated nipples, but it's annoying when a show is all about that kind of thing, yet censors it xD
