Hi Everyone

Hai, welcome to the forum! Hope you will have a great time:). What are your favorites? Do you have an anime you hate with a burning passion? Are you a collector as well?

If you have any questions, let us know!

Yup I'm a collector currently picking up Bleach and Naruto on Blu Ray and starting to buy statues as well.

All time favourites are Ghost in the Shell, Cowboy Bebop, Naruto, Black Lagoon, AOT & Rahxephon. Faves atm are Apothecary Diaries, Demon Slayer, Dandandan and Frieren.

Most hated anime is Evangelion contains some of the most boring main characters in anime.

How bout yourselves?

Fun! Those are some nice classic choices:).

I've been collecting anime dvds/blurays for about 15 years. I feel like an anime dragon!

My favorites are Whisper of the heart, Aria, Bakeneko/ mononoke (the series), Fighting spirit, Giant Robo, Mushishi, Vampire hunter D bloodlust and petite princess Yucie.

My most hated anime is Hellsing ultimate, because everybody has really long monologues like they are the coolest and maddest people around, and then they either die quickly or (in Alucards case) gets shot a lot and then does not die. He is too lazy to dodge and poses like that's cool in some way..

OMG I loved Petite Princess Yucie! So underappreciated! I liked the Giant Robo OVAs, and really enjoyed Aria though more when I watched it dubbed as my ADHD attention span found the slow pacing difficult when I watched subbed, I agree with you 100% about Hellsing Ultimate haha XD

I have been collecting for over 20 years now :)

I love Rahxephon and Evangelion too, I enjoy their similarities and differences, Shinji is one of my fave MCs cuz I've had rly bad depression too and I can relate a lot to him, I even drew him lol (I love making art but not anime-styled art so often), I love the art direction too, Raxhephon was rly beautiful amazing music need to watch it again, Cowboy Bebop is a great choice as well, curious if you've seen Escaflowne (given it has some shared creative staff), do you like any of Shinichiro Watanabe's other works, and what your favourite part of the GITS franchise is? Do you read manga or just enjoy watching anime? :)

I love hellsing ultimate it's part of his alucards law him absorbing a life force and all that.

Vampire hunter D bloodlust great film. The original 1983 movie was one of the 1st anime I saw on vhs in the mid 90's. Typing that makes me feel like a dinosaur 😄

Nice, I have seen Escaflowne it's a show I enjoyed watching alot. I'm a massive fan of Shinichiro Watanabe apart from Cowboy Bebop his stuff doesn't get the classic treatment I feel it deserves just brought Terror in Resonance for the collection. Already own Samurai Champloo, Kids on the Slope and have Carole and Tuesday on my wishlist.

Fave parts SAC 1st/2nd Gig and the movies. Saw ARISE was never a fan and the CGI style they went with for SAC_2045 should a criminal offence 😄

Yeah I read manga not to the same degree as I watch thou, got any good recommendations?
