Hello random peoples. :D
I'm Mark, a random wannabe artist\programmer thingy from Kettering that spends way too much time on the computer.
Reasons for joining I guess was to meet new people with same interests and from same country, and maybe show off some of my works etc.

And if anyone wonders why I'm up so early - I've been deprived of Gundam over the past two weeks and decided to marathon some Double Zeta. Went on for rather longer than I expected...

Haven't seen the Double Zeta series, how good is it compared to say... Gundam Wing? :? My excuse for being up at this time is being too lazy to sleep :D
 
Well I'm Currently watching my way through the UC stuff (in something resembling order) and haven't seen anything outside of that timeline yet so can't compare it to Wing.

I'm loving ZZ, but I know that's not a widely held opinion... to say the least! :lol: I recently described it as Gundam gently parodying itself, although it seems to be edging back into more serious territory now.

Wow, didn't know there was so many gundam series :eek: Only seen Gundam Wing\Endless Waltz (which I love), Gundam Seed\Seed Destiny(which sucks in comparison), and G Gundam(which is just..different), gotta watch the Universal Century ones myself sometime, looks interesting :?

Oh for the love of....great....now that's in my head for the next 48 hours....fantastic. All I'll have in my head is K.Rool and his stupid red cape of arbitrary death.....

Anyway, hello. Nice to see a fellow Gundam fan around here. If you haven't seen Gundam 0083 then I heartilly recommend it. It was the only show in my tenure at AberAnime that the committee voted to show to the society twice. It's like the Top Gun of mech anime (complete with slightly homoerotic montage scenes of people doing manly things like welding), only with large amounts of added awesomeness....although sadly the DVDs will seemingly never be released over here other than in movie format.

Only 48 hours? :? I was aiming for all eternity but oh well, I miss when Rare used to make DK games :(. I really need to check out these UC Ggundam series so i'll probably end up watching that one. Anyways seeya Around :D
