Help with a few questions

ive got a few questions to ask and if any of you could answer them i would be greatful.

I just recently got Shadow Skill the dvd Manga ent. released years ago. I thought it was pretty good. dubbing was bad though, and just recently Shadow Skills the series boxset has just been released. Is it worth getting the Series boxset?

Mobile Suit Gundam 00 has also been released and was considering getting it. However i havnt seen any other gumdam series. Do i have to see any of the other Gundam series to under stand MSG 00?
 
I can't help on Shadow Skill; I skipped the full series after seeing the OAV.

Gundam 00 is, like many of the later Gundams, set in a completely different continuity to what came before it. You should be ok to give it a spin without having seen any previous Gundam.

You'll be okay with Gundam 00, no pior knowledge required :) As for Shadow Skill i think the series is a different story but i can't say for sure
 
I watched Gundam 00 without watching any of the others and loved it, plus its worth getting into now as they are releasing a movie to carry on after the first 2 series in 2010
