Also, what's the anime scene in Ireland like? Is it even quieter than the UK or fairly active?
I can't exactly compare it to the UK, my knowledge of the British anime scene is fairly limited, but I would say it's pretty damn quiet here alright. There are few...outlets, for anime/manga fans to vent their passion; cons are few and far between, and the anime faction at my uni, for example, is a sub-section of the Sci-Fi club and rather isolated. That said, it's definitely on the rise, and far more popular than it was a few years ago.

Oh jeez, I always get the tough ones. Hmmm, well first of all, my name is Solez. My REAL name is Eoin, though, which you can pronounce like "Owen"; it's just an Irish/Gaelic variant. My quest, huh. Well, apart from saving princesses, I'm here to meet more fellow anime fans. Or manga fans. Gaming fans, too. In fact, I'd settle for a Briton. And as for the colour, I'll go with blue. Though my room is FAR too blue at the moment.
