So I decided to draw one of my favourite characters: Haruhi Suzumiya. Here it is from start to finish...

The head and body are fine, but mind how you go with the limbs - her legs and right arm seem long compared with the rest of her.

I must say, I am envious that you can do the whole balls for joints thing.

If you could upload/link me to the original. as google just shows me that pointed finger pose, I can try and see where you can improve!

Thank you but I'm not sure what you mean by "original". That is the original, I didn't copy it from any pre-existing Haruhi picture. I just drew it.
