I am definitely going to stop buying .hack stuff. I have Quantum in my saved basket, but I'm totally not going to buy it! And I'll ignore this too!

I am willing to bet that Rui will buy //Quantum, but safely ignore the movie.

make for an interesting situation.
I'm getting pop corn and beer and observing how it will evolve.

What gets me is the fact that, because GU did as poorly as it did they're desperate, DESPERATE, to recapture the lightning in the bottle via the Orange Twin-Blade character design.

Unless this is the same Orange Twin-Blade player that appeared in //Quantum, because they actually did play with her not being a good player and getting two Clans so ticked at her by interrupting their big bonus boss battle. You know, stuff that could actually happen in a mumorpuger. I'd be totally OK if this is her origin story.

Also, would it kill them to have something other than a coma be the big deal when something goes wrong in The World (//dusk sort did this but...)?
I mean by this point, we're fictionally some 25 years into The World's existence, you'd think they'd be able to pinpoint the part of the game that sends out the murder music every three and so years and stop it from happening at this point.

That said, this looks a lot like the CG Iron Man cartoon with a bigger budget, looks wise, I wish more things tried that.
