What the hell ever does FFVII deserve it.

I've played MGS, Ocarina and FFVII and I can most definatly say FFVII is the worst of the 3.

I'll always be undecided between MGS1 (PS1) and Ocarina cause they are both so great. I mean, I completed MGS1 like, 4+ times to get the Tuxedo etc., and I remember spending hours loving every second of Ocarina.

Sure- I learnt to read through FFVII but- it just wasn't as good as either MGS or Ocarina.

You forget that chavs listen to Radio 1, so Fifa has a good look in.

Speaking of GTAIV, when I was last in Game Station a kid asked me to buy it for him. :lol:

For everyone who was there, FFVII was a revolutionary game.
I understand you prefer ocarina or MSG, but still FFVI have a huge fanbase and in the end, this is just a popularity poll.

To be honest- I know way more people who preffer Ocarina to FFVII. If Final Fantasy wins then it's a joke.
 
FFVII was the first blockbuster RPG, the first truly cinematic RPG. Watching the opening FMV depicting Midgar is something I'll never forget. I've since played RPGs with better gameplay but none have left the same impression on me as FFVII. If it wins it's because more people voted it their favourite game than any other. Very simple, but that's never stopped people bitching about these polls. Gamers are so damn angry.
 
I take consolation in the fact that 3 deserving games made it (Ocarina of Time, MGS and Goldeneye). However, I actually dislike Call of Duty and FFVII isn't that bad of a game, so I'd rather have FFVII win, even at the risk of FF fanboy gloating.

Holy ****. I didn't totally trash a FF game! Perhaps I'm not as jaded as I thought.
