Good, Short Manga

If you're looking for short manga, then I have to suggest you pick up some of Osamu Tezuka's stuff. Vertical Inc. have released Ode to Kirihito, MW and Apollo's Song in single volumes and all 3 are absolutely fantastic manga.

Uzumaki. 3 volumes. Horror. It's awesome!

I second this recommendation. Uzumaki is great, though not as scary as I would have liked!

Mail from Housui Yamazaki the writer/illustrator of The Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service is only 3 volumes and quite a decent read.

**** that looks awesome.

18+ for Sex or violence??

Violence most likely as it is about people that have died trying to get messages through to the living, I'll have a flick through and have a quick look for anything else.

It's that that got me to try Mail.

Sundome in Japanese means "stopping the moment before" and this is a manga about a relationship built around that. It is quite sexual in nature, but there is more to the underlying story.

Sounds okay but, I'm not into relationship driven stories really. They annoy me alot of the time.

You probably don't need to ask anyone anymore, but i can't resist recommending some. 12 Days... oh boy, it's quirky. One shot, the character partakes in a ritual in which they drink the ashes of their lover a day at a time. Line, which has already been mentioned... i was personally in it for some yuri, but only hints really.
Under the Full Moon (2 volumes) , a good ol' Satomi Matoh. It's kind of Bl.. i suppose.
and X-Day (2 volumes, cut short - sadly) A group of people meet on a forum and decide to blow up their school together.
Blue, Kiriki Nananan... kind of a random ebay find.

Heck no, I'm always in for suggestions :)

I love this one at the moment Shoulder-A-Coffin Kuro. There have only been two volumes released so far, but it another amazingly well produced book from Yen Press with nice colour pages every so often. I volume two we start to find out why Kuro and Sen are trying to find the Black Witch.

Maaan I like the manga you reccomend. Like everyone has been a hit so far. This is also on my 'to buy' list.

The only thing with Kuro is that when I first started to read it I did not realise it was a 4 panel read down manga for the most part so got confused until I re-read it properly.

Can you explain what you mean? I get its 4 panels, but what, you read down instead of Right to Left??

I just mean it is like in the back of some manga where the mangaka and editors sometimes draw silly 4 panel pieces about what they were doing writing the manga which you read top to bottom starting with the right column then the left. The problem with Kuro is it mixes both styles at times if it want's a larger panel. I just got a little confused at the start, when I realised I was okay.

Oh alright. Should be alright. Since its still being released, I have time to re-read anyway.

Read some one shots; Under the Bridge, White clouds, Nihei: Abba, The Enigma of Amigura Fault, etc...

Also, The Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service is on 8 volumes at the moment and is very interesting - It's a seinen horror, and it's pretty good.
