General Christmas Thread

lol an android would make life abit more interesting, if it was me becoming an android or atleast having a sort of ghost in the shell android body sat in the background as a back up for if my body breaks down lol

i did it though.... 2 - 4 OR 5 - 10 days upgraded my phone contract, cost me £80 but changed my contract details to 900mins anytime calls (was 600) unlimited texts (same as old contract) 750mb of internet (whoooooop!) and the HTC Desire HD :D going to enjoy xmas and new years, getting to call people with the new fone lol
 
This Christmas I will be mostly receiving a Street Fighter IV Tournament Edition Fight Stick (finally), which I expect will instantly transform me from mediocre to amazing at fighting games.
 
I think our current SFIV standing is one game each. In the first maestro selected a character with whom he apparently wasn't too familiar. In the second he played his trump card of C. Viper and my arse was duly handed to me.
 
If I remember rightly, you main Blanka, so you will probably win at least a few games just on the basis that I massively run out of patience fighting that ugly green mofo. :p
 
Nah, I stopped playing as Blanka a while back. He's kind of boring, even though I tried to play him agressively and not just sit in the corner spamming electrcity. And nobody likes fighting him :D

I started to main Chun instead (this was before she topped the tier list, FYI) and found her more enjoyable, if tougher to win with. Hardly played the game in months, though.

Yeah, I still have to do a bit more shopping. I have been opening my advent calendar every day, though. Yes, I know those things are unrelated.

My Nan always had an advent calendar, and she was old enough to be my Nan. :)
 
Oh yeah, it indeed will be money for me. I'll need it to pay for this trip to America for ComicCon. Might get a couple of shirts and stuff, as well.

Really looking forward to this christmas. Christmas itself means to me; family and friends spending time together, a roast dinner even if its not sunday, a few days off work and presents - both giving them and seeing peoples faces, and receiving gifts. the whole spirit of christmas, walking through a shopping centre and hearing songs playing, the general buzz of people crimbo shopping. the lights are up and everything, just looks alot better than it would at any other time of the year.


Have presents to wrap when i get home, ones for the other half, and her family.... so instead of relaxing before going round, the relaxing maybe 2am tomorrow morning.

My Mum is too lazy to shop for me this year, so she's transferring money into my account for me to do the shopping xD All that's on my list is Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood volume 2. My birthday is in January anyway; although something bad always happens on my birthday.

My father gave me £100 Christmas money, and as my laptop died, my Grandpa agreed to go 50-50 on a laptop, instead of getting my a birthday and christmas present.

Obviously, most of the Christmas attention goes to my 6 year old brother. I just had to hide his presents - mostly Beyblades, Bakugan and weird battling bug things.

I need money to buy presents for my brothers though - I spent the last of the money in my account buying Mum the Robbie William's Greatest Hits.
