Gay Pride, Trannies and Bomb Scares!!

Well... it was gay pride in dublin yesterday, so obviously i got myself below the boarder to show my support... and ofcourse to see Amanda Lepore perform!!

well after the parade and things obviously i went out drinking to the george and at about 2am JUST AS AMANDA WAS ABOUT TO GO ON STAGE there was a ******* bombscare... ragin!

reopened the club afew hours later and gave every1 free drinks... but i didnt get to see lepore.... ragin ¬_¬
 
Yeah, I searched, as well. Saw a Google picture and thought, "What the hell is it?" Then I looked at it's Wikipedia page and it looks like it's famous for doing something relativity unimportant.

I would imagine Amanda Lepore understands that her appearance is a joke. It's part of her act, I'd guess.

@Espy,
It's almost always very obvious when someone is transgender, so it's clear that most trans folk don't do it for the look, they do it because they feel like they're trapped in the wrong body.

It's not like it's a decision they take lightly, or serious medical advice will let them take lightly either. Besides, it's not like they all look fake. The one's you know are fake are the obvious ones. Also, for the lols: Lepore's first operation was performed 'by her boyfriend' according to wikipedia. Plastic Surgeon or no, he could hardly have been the best in his field.

edit: also, everyone in this thread should never watch Pink Flamingos. Divine would out-gross anything 'A Man Duh The Poor' could do. The filthiest person alive, as they say.

It's Brighton's pride soon. That's usually pretty colourful.

She looks a fright but it's mostly the lips/eyes rather than anything else (the ridiculously antigravity breasts are funny but it's not unusual to see things like that these days). I assume she deliberately made herself look this way to be eyecatching as a performer. And it certainly works from the shock everyone is expressing at the picture :)

Sucks about the bomb scare. Hopefully you can catch her another time.

not ALL transexuals look like that... amanda is someone who's addicted to cosmetic surgery, i mean look at Jocelyn Wildenstein, the "cat woman"
she's a real woman and looks more bizarre than amanda... personally i think amanda lepore is stunning in her own way, not that she's winning americas next top model or anything lol

and yeh CG it was a great day, i missed most of the parade because the traffic from belfast to dublin was crazy... but the park party thing was immense some of the speaches about same sex marriage were actually moving, and i was sooo impressed that so many people came out to show there support even in the ****** weather... because i cudnt see northerners doing that lol

my hair looked ****, i missed amanda and the clubs were packed from wall to wall, but still was immense day! yay pride cant wait for belfast pride^_^

It is a good place, you can't help but marvel at the scenery and the graffiti...okay you can say "its ruining the place" but seriously, go there and see for yourself. theres a whole wall just before the train station that is full of graffiti but its actually really good :) if you look at it enough there's actually manga/anime styles thrown in it too.

plus the whole "but there's gays and any straight guy will ger raped" is utter tripe. you can walk though brighton without any problems. the only chance you'll find a gay would be down the peir. and even then they don't bother you unless your a moron running around without any clothes on and have a sign on your back saying "bum fun welcome" :p

anyway, gunna be down the south coast on sat. so if anyone's in the essex/east/london and wants to meet up then thats ok
