Games for the DS

rocklee

Great Teacher
right i've done one for the wii now is the DS
okies good games...the phoenix wright collection (got the us import of trials and tribulations today)
greatest thing about the ds is that you can import the games unlike the wii cause of it's stupid region thing
my phoenix wright 2 is the japanese import

Advance Wars: Dual Strike
If you love turn-based strategy games or loved the GBA series you'll love this - although no online, there will be for the next one!

Hotel Dusk: Room 215
Really fresh game - only just got it but I love it and the anime style of the characters as well - great mystery game

Zelda: Phantom Hourglass
Best handheld zelda so far and really innovative - everything controlled by the stylus with a few exceptions. How does that work I hear you say? It is so easy and good to control its mad!

Mario Kart DS
Mario kart online with old and new tracks mixed together - what more could you want?!

Those are my favourite DS games and anyone who has a DS should go and get them now!!

Oh and is metroid prime hunters really as good as I've been told?

i did have hotel dusk and mario kart sold them to get the fullmetal alchemist dvds..I'M SORRY THEY WERE £9 I COULDN'T RESIST!!!!
letsee i've got:
Phoenix wright 1,2+3
ff III
resident evil deadly silence
naruto ninja council 3
nitendogs (which haven't been on for ages)
fullmetal alchemist duel sympathy
pokemon diamond
think that's it really i used to have;
mario super smash bros
mario kart
hotel dusk
dr kawishima's brain training
big brain academy

i am waiting for bleach to come out...well i can get it i just don't have oney on me at the mo :?

oh yeah forgot to mention pokemon Diamond awesome game!! but probably only for fans of the games - was pondering on Resi Evil as it has the original voice acting in it which is hilarious! - New Super Mario Bros was good but there was just something missing from it to make it a must have! Was the naruto DS game any good? Yeah I want to get bleach too!

What are some good release that will be coming in the next year? Ive forgotten!

right the naruto 3 is also naruto the european version which you can get in most places...it ain't bad but some of the d rank missions seem impossible to me!..and it's american voice cast
bleach is out round bout feb in britain
there are romours about more ff coming onto ds...i'll look into it and report later! *salute*

Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles - Rings Of Fates - 28/03
Bleach: The Blade Of Fate - 28/03

postman pat,mr bean,bratz,my salon,real adventures:pet vet,figure skating...i could go on!

i'll give updates of anyothers
[/list]

Metroid Prime: hunters is a great game for DS, its a bit of a no brainer to say games like Zelda etc :p I would also recommend Castlevaina: Dawn of Sorrow as that is a terrific game, i couldn't find it other here so i had to import it, actually i might do that with the bleach game... I'm wary of getting the new pokemon games in case i get sucked back into their world and devote all my time to catching them all.

i was into pokemon alot when i got it but i have stopped playing it and left it at the final gym...i think..i'm too busy enjoying the new phoenix wright game and shoving it in my mates' faces cause it isn't out over here yet...aaaaahh the wonders of importing!

Contra 4 - This game is too hard, you'll cave at this game's difficulty.
Phoenix Wright Trilogy - Great set of games with a great story, loveable characters, and memorable music. You'll get shivers of excitement from the "Investigation ~ cornered" theme tune.
Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass - A fun game that brings back memories of Zelda games of old, with a Wind Waker twist. Drawing on the map has to be the best feature, though.
Bleach DS - A fun game if you're a fan of the series.
Osu Tatakae Ouendan - The first rhythm game of its kind was a great addition to the DS, and so was it's sequel, Osu Tatakae Ouendan 2.
Elite Beat Agents - The Western equivalent of the Osu Tatakae Ouendan series, that has western tracks; just as enjoyable as its Eastern counterpart.

You probably mentioned all the others.

i couldn't agree with you more phoenix wright is a fab game i'm on the 2nd case on trials and tribulations...taking a little break

I wonder if the makers of phoenix wright knew how good it was going to turn out

There is actually a fourth game in the series...*drum roll* Apollo Justice Ace Attorney! The plot features you taking the role of another lawyer looknig to make a name for himself and his first major case? Clearing the name of his idol, Phoenix Wright...Well that's basically the plot description as given in this months new Edge magazine

Read that on Wikipedia earlier. I really want to get into this series. Gasp. Number 4 being the first proper DS release. I might get the other one on the DS just for the sake, The temptation.

I didn't include GS4 because it does not have an English iteration of the game yet, thus I cannot play it without following a Gamefaqs guide for the whole game.

I don't think we've seen the last of Phoenix Wright though, they may be bringing in a new guy but i bet the fifth game will have both of them in it...if they do a fifth game of course.
