Sad to see the studio that made so many of my favourite anime finally go. I know that they have long been on the way out for some time, but to see it black-and-white is still a sad moment.

Although it's only relatively recently that I've got back into anime, I've done enough reading to know that this has been on the cards for a while. I'm glad that so many ex-Gainax staff are still doing well with their own companies and projects.

I was surprised to learn that they are still around, they haven't released anything in almost a decade.
