FuyuCon 2007

We have a Q & A Panel at AmeCon, please feel free to wander over and ask us some questions.

Sorry no time as of yet, but when i know i will post it.

With less than 200 days left we are at over 25% of our max occupancy, if your thinking of booking a group event then you will have to be quick.

There are also a few onsite rooms left too.

Accommodation is going fast, we are down to a average of 40 rooms for the whole of the 3 days with Saturday filling up fast, if you are going as a group or a forum community then you may want to find out how many rooms you will need, with the booking you will get a hot breakfast at the onsite restaurant as well as free WiFi in all the rooms.

FuyuCon will be the only convention to run 24 hours, that means there will be a full 60 hours of stuff for you to do, with anime screenings during the night as well as panels and other events planned during the day you will be able to find something to do.

We also have 2 bars with cheap beer available for you to chill out in and a restaurant that will be doing a Japanese meal one night (night to be decided) for you all to try.

Hi all,

I am just letting you all know that we have some important information for you all.

The nominations for Anime Room 101 are now open, if there is anything that really gets on your nerves then post on the forum and let us know, you might just get lucky and get to argue your case on the night.

If you are going to be staying onsite and you haven’t booked your room yet you will need to move fast as it is down to 15 rooms that span the whole of the weekend, there are lots of Friday and Sunday rooms left but the Saturday rooms are filling FAST!

We are still taking submissions for the Convention book if you have some fan-art or some articles then please email Tyrantus with FUYUCON in the title somewhere, you can find his email address on the contacts page.

If you have any questions please Email me with FUYUCON in the message title.

Just a question, how many of you AUKN guys are thinking of coming to Fuyucon? (I'm guessing most of you London based will be going to the second expo instead?)

It's going to be my first ever convention (I did go to the last Expo, but that doesn't seem to be classified as a con), and I'm really looking forward to it!
I'll admit I do know the guys running it all, and they certainly are putting in a huge amount of effort to make it a really good event!
Anyways, enough blatant plugging ;)
I guess I'd be interested in meeting and chatting to any of you who are going, so I'll look forward to seeing any of you there!

Additional rooms availible at the Britannia Hotel.

After the fast sell our of the onside accomadation the FuyuCon committee have been working hard to get additional rooms released for our sole use. To this end we are pleased to announce that there are now 80 rooms availible for convention members.

To book one of these rooms please email conf728@britanniahotels.com and speak to Mary.
