A number of Funimation titles distributed by Anime Limited have suddenly been unavailable to purchase from their online store, with stock becoming limited elsewhere.

And this is why it’s good to buy things at launch and not hold off I guess. :/

I’m glad I bought Noragami in the Christmas sale now because it was the only thing I’d not bought re: Funi. I think I own everything else I’d want as of that list, but it’s a shame to see so much disappear at once.

How is this allowed? As with Manga, surely AL have the licence, and not only that but stock of the bloody product. This must be crippling for UK companies to have stock they can't even sell.

Honestly I'd be happy at this point if Funimation went bankrupt. Seriously reconsidering ever buying their releases again.

I think distribution deals mean the original company retains the licence and hires the local company to distribute and possibly manufacture their content, so they can pull the licence at any time.

So glad I grabbed Hyouka Part 2 Collector's Edition last night, as it's now unavailable on UP1 (listed as Out of Print).

The same thing happened to MVM way back but they gave fore warning of when it would happen etc, so the lack of communication from AL is either because they can't or they are still arguing with Funi about it, either way, not good for ALs PR again.

If stock has run out then I would have expected at least a heads up it was running low. Communication seems to be lacking here. From AL. Funimation as the sole reason we miss out on so many great shows

Going through that list properly, there are alot of titles that are a proper AL release and not a Funi distro.

I've edited my post to mention which ones are Region B.

Regarding Lord Marksman and Vanadis, the original release was labelled as Region B which was confirmed to be region locked, however they kept the same specs for the Essentials version so no one currently knows if that one is region B or not.
Lets test it
