Full scale Gundam model unveiled in Odaiba [Tokyo Bay]

The model was built as part of the 30th anniversary celebrations of the original Gundam TV show and willstand in Odaiba for two months.

funnily enough Zin pointed this out in the Chat last night. Still looks incredibly cool, a shame it doesn't work :lol: or is that a secret the japanese have been keeping from us ;)

Still good for comparsions sake, i wonder if they were tempted to do a Zaku II in Char's colour scheme to go alongside it.
 
I have to say it looks very nice, and yeah shame it doesn't work really. Hah, if it did, it would seem we would be really developing our technology to be like gundams, all we need now are working Haro's and maybe a Zaku or two.
 
I heard it's only staying there for two months. I wonder what will become of it after that... hopefully they'll put it outside Bandai-headquarters. I don't think I can fit it in my back garden.
 
Saw this a few days ago aswell,its awesome!Looks like they're prepared in case Godzilla decides to come and visit Tokyo again for the summer!I think they've still got a rifle and a shield to add to it yet,although I'm not sure^_^;
 
I herd it's eyes light up when it goes dark... a picture of this at midnight with gleaming eyes would make the best photo ^^.

But wow, so expensive...
 
O-M-G... That would be awesome to actually walk up to and look up at.
