I dunno about him losing that aspect of his personality entirely, he still seemed to have it in the TSR OVA. More a case of it becoming less prominent perhaps?

I liked TSR as well and I agree with that sentiment. Souske was definately shown to be not entirely psychologically "normal" although this had been hinted at previously. Then again how else would you expect him to be considering his background. Let's just hope he doesn't end up like Fuse from Jin-Roh.

Well, on the note of Sousuke's development for after TSR It does progress a lot more, without Kaname, there is a huge reason for this, but if you want to know that, you'll need to find translations of the light novels, or wait for their released here =p Also he has a fair bit more development with Al(Arbalest's AI) specially now he has sorted out his problem with why he couldn't use the Lambda driver properly.

Also Anyone else looking forward to seeing the ARX-8 Laevatein? i mean when the next FMP series FINALLY gets released/announced

Yup. It looks really badass. I'd quite like to see the ARX-7 Arbalest getting destroyed and the events leading up to it since I want to see Sousuke's reactions since he went into a state of shock a few times during TSR. Those made me go "Whoah!"
