Filler = Bad

Watching that trailer reminded me of the Naruto films. A princess who needs saving, a big guy with a moustache as the baddie and most likely a lot of fail.

I thought the film was going to show content from the manga... :/

I'm hardly sold on the concept or footage yet, but I'll remain optomistic here. Deviation from the manga and an original story doesn't have to equate to a fail. I'd hope that with the movie coming out so long after the series and being made by Madhouse suggests something more than a rushed together effort along the lines of a Naruto film.

The mini-cam quality combined with youtubes compression doesn't help with judging the standard of animation, while the super cheesy voice-over was somewhat distracting. I won't say more till a high quality trailer gets released.
 
Well I absolutely love the series (so much nostalgia attached) so I'm looking forward to this.n Thankfully it looks like it's the same timeline as TV series and not a retelling following parts of the manga (which went on and on and on basically turning into Dragonball Z in terms of dragging out). I do hope they get Johnny Yong Bosch back as Vash though, I can't imagine any other voice coming out of his mouth.

That narrator was bloody horrific though!
