Finally, after years of avoiding getting caught...

It's a known fact that everyone in an online game is 100% male unless proven otherwise, especially those who use a female model/skin/character.

And a known fact that after 100 or so teenage boys say that to me and call me a fake girl, I become a PVPer and brutalise every other player I see for the rest of time :(

I find in games the real girls tend to pick the angry looking female characters whilst the men playing girls pick the cutesy ones and flirt more.

R (I always play Undead in WoW, there's something creepily therapeutic about eating your opponents after you kill them)

After checking, I've just discovered that the FFVII OST is actually my second bootleg OST -- My beloved Suikoden II OST is actually another EverAnime release. I was so pleased when I got that for £10... It looks lovely; two booklets, 4 CDs and a box.

The lesson here is to never buy soundtracks 2nd-hand. With anime it's easy to spot the Chinese rubbish, but with soundtracks it can be near impossible.

Exactly. There are tell tale signs with DVD sets (more eps per disc, crappy cover art, not to mention ridiculously cheap prices) but with soundtracks the bootleggers seem to be able to copy everything to the last detail. Full booklets, slipcases, everything. What tipped me off about mine was that the print quality looked dull in the white areas. I imagine a lot of people buy bootleg soundtracks without ever knowing that they have.

Turns out i also have more bootlegged ones again a few of my Game OSTs are from the same people who did the bootleg Advent Children OST. But they just looked so official, though as said, the print work should of tipped me off :(

At least i know that i have some originals in my collection with the ones that Geneon released

These were the only replies I got from the FFVII bootleg seller in 2-3 days:

Hi,what do you mean bootleg,i dont understand.

Item was sent exactly as described and pictured.Maybe you should ask questions before bidding as put in description.Feel free to send negative feedback i have read yours so i can imagine the type of person you are!

Listing: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0289685006

Since he/she seems like a ****, I decided to take the advice given. :D

It's too bad I didn't stick with my gut instinct and just make a PayPal claim saying it hadn't arrived - I would've got all my money back as it wasn't sent recorded. Instead, I've now opened a SNAD dispute and escalated it.

Anyway, I'm not too pissed about my Suikoden II OST being a bootleg. Aside from the track listing on the cases not listing many tracks, everything looks authentic, with there being two CD cases (like the official releases) and the same lovely artwork. I'd probably never get the official set for a reasonable amount, so a £10 for a very nice looking unofficial set isn't too bad.

I've tried to make up for me bootleg failings by getting the first Ah! My Goddess OST and 2nd Samurai Champloo for £9.57 altogether, with both being sealed and both being the Geneon releases.
