Final Gintama Movie

The full trailer for the final Gintama movie is now online and it contains the announcement that this will be the last instalment of the anime.


The film is running under the title Gintama: The Movie: Be Forever Yorozuya and it has a script which is written by the original manga-ka Hideaki Sorachi. Yoichi Fujita is the director and he has worked in a similar capacity on the Gintama TV anime as well as Binbogami ga!

The seiyuu from the previous anime are returning with Tomokazu Sugita (Kyon in The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya) reprising the role of Gitoki Sakata, Rie Kugimiya (Masako Hara in Ghost Hunt) and Daisuke Sakaguchi (Hyou Sasaki in Mononoke) voicing Shinpachi Shimura.

The film will get its theatrical release on July 06th in Japan.

Still going through first series but most episodes, apart from being fun, can be boring too sometimes. Still i plan to watch everything. There are some crazy fun episodes that just let you crying seriously. Too much fun.
 
It should be noted that people are treating the word final as having some big-ass-ol air quotes up on it's business.

The fact that it's title is a pinch from the (supposed) last of the Starblazers films (Be forever Yamato) should clue people into that business.
