It constantly amazes me that there were two numbered Final Fantasy games out this year. Not only does no one care about them, people seem to have gone out of their way to make sure that people know that they don't care about them.
Well, one of them really came out last year, and the other one is a Chinese online game wearing a Final Fantasy flavored mask, so it's not that much of a shock.
FF will only die when people stop buying FF. That day looks far away off, as even if its only to complain, FF is still a hot topic that brings much intrest when a new one is released.
I think it should go back to its original rpg roots again. With good story and gameplay. To be honest I don't think final fantasy needs to be an online game for now.
