New trailer showing the game trailer to the squeal of ff12 soon to be released in the uk it also comes with a new ds with the final fantasy art work.

Anyone get the feeling there releasing these a lil to fast :roll:

Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales
For the nintendo ds in the usa

Basically what i gather is you a chocobo must save your farm and you travel into a picture book and must take part in a variety of mini games.

Instead of random battles you have random card battles and for your disappointment no emo main chacters making an appearance(eg cloud)

Ff6 advance

Same ff6 new spells new dungeon a beistatry etc etc it's for the gba the new espers include gilmesh,levithan,diablos etc.

Ff5-advance

Ff5 to released in the usa in march new jobs like necromancer new spells new dugeons etc.

Some new spells are flood etc.
ff1-psp
Oh and by the way ff1 is being re released for the psp.

Ps. you may wanna invest in a final fantasy sticky there more to come :wink:
 
I disagree that this thread should be stickied. It's not even approaching a complete run-down, some of it is factually incorrect (FF5 has been released in the US) and lets face it, most FF fans know what is coming out anyway. And most FF fans on the forum have already made similar posts, and some of them even include proper punctuation. And every second 'word' isn't 'etcetera'

I mean that square is releasing games left right and center and you can grantue someone gonna make a thread about it at some point.

So why "doesn't" someone make a new thread from scratch with correct punctuation :roll: and sticky that.

It's out here too, on the playstation. It's a bit of a rarity, but would still cost less than the GBA version. Plus, you can play it on the full screen, which I reccomend.

FFVI is one of my favourite titles in the series. Not enough people in the UK have played it.
 
I got the PS version of VI when it first came out...haven't got around to playing it yet, like most of my RPGS but I always buy them when they're pretty new just in case I never see them again.

I just need to get hold of III, IV and V and I'll have all the basic series (minus XI, which I'm just about to order)...should get III sorted out soon with the DS version and all. I'm not interested in the GBA versions...I go for PS versions when available.

I'll be getting XII for PS2 and the DS one...I'll also be looking to get this DS Chocobo game and the Tactics re-release on PSP.

I have it on PS1 infact, I bought it the day it came out! It's the best FF I've played and I can't locate my PS1 version so it's why I'm getting the GBA version.

The PS1 version loads slower than a blunderbuss in the battle sequences. I'm getting the GBA version too so I can experience it without menus that take a Duke Nukem Forever to appear.
 
Yeah, a friend of mine told me about how slow it was, I myself didn't think much of it, I could still play the game, regardless. I'll be buying it tomorrow for sure!

oooo, that the PAL version? Shipping it on monday is a little early :? Mine will likely come on thursday, gameplay always ship games a day early to me, got the day off school thursday too... :D

Now I've just got the dilemma of whether I wait until I finish VIII, or put that on hold and get right onto XII. :?

I think option 2 will win in the end. :oops:

The "nice" cutscenes look lovely

Very nice "primer" with loads of information on enemies

The customisation is easier than I expected (but I still don't really like it)

Er...the voices are OK

Terrible pop-up...I haven't seen pop-up since Ocarina of Time, but here it is!

AWFUL flickering, even with the flicker filter turned on

Because the pretty cutscenes look so nice, the ones with in-game graphics look ****

Complete mess of a first section...a terrible way to introduce you to the new system (basically enemies getting gangraped without you even being able to get a hit in)

I don't know what the story is meant to be about...er...there's a country, and another country, and there's about three more countries (I think), but I don't know who the good guys are, or who the bad guys are, or which side I'm on

You can only talk to certain NPCs...ones you can talk to make a ping noise when you get near them...they all tell you bugger all anyway

The right stick is ******...when I play games, I push forward on the left stick and use the right stick for any other movement...which I can't do , since the directions are the OPPOSITE WAY AROUND

Sonic-style camera leaves you stuck against a wall with the view right above you, with you unable to work out where to move

Drama-free battles...no different camera, no different music, no money dropped...it might as well be Zelda

Can't change the name of the main character!!!



I don't know why EVERY magazine has been creaming themselves over it so much...it's the worst FF I've played. If I wanted to play Zelda, I'd play Zelda, not a Zelda wannabe. Charmless characters, nondescript music, irritating control and graphical crap, lame battles...I haven't been this disappointed in a game in ages.

Letdown.
