@maxon, yeah now i thought he meant 3D as in where you have to wear the glasses and the pictures are "3D" or an optical illusion like the 3DS.

but yeah anyway....

waifu is just how the spell wife in katakana, it's not pronounced any differently.

And yes female fans tend to be fujoshi and pare pair characters up together.
