Favourite anime moment?

Um lets see my favourite anime moment probably in Dargon Ball when Piccolo thought he killed Goku but for his bad luck Goku was alive and what was worse was Goku had learnt how to fly and headbuted Piccolo from above and in the gut that forced Piccolo out of the ring to make Goku the winner of the world martial art tournament.
 
I would say mine has got to be from Howls moving castle, the bit when Sophie had accidently put out Calsifuh (cant spell..;o) and then sees howl as a monster and kisses him and asks him to take her home.. Such a moving yet cute part of the story.
 
End of Episode 25 of Air Gear, where Ikki has been trying to clear a 33 meter jump from a standing start (all his mates are led down so if he fails he lands on them), busted knee and then Akito throws him his leather jacket, a smile creeps accross Ikki's face as he looks up to the 'sky'. His mates see the look on his face and they stand up knowing that he'll make the jump easily. That is a major high to leave the series on.

Trigun, ep 2, Vash is underground and being shot at by a crooked mayor, he slightly moves to avoid the bullet and then realises what he's done and starts screaming and jumping around to hide that fact that he can time the bullets speed and trajectory and always avoid it.
 
This thread seems vaguely familiar, wonder what i put in the first one. If we are talking about very short moments
Rahxephon (what else) Ayato comes down the stairs and sees Haruka and Itsuki kissing. Haruka sees him and breaks away, but Ayato has a completely blank look on his face. There is a three second shot of each of their faces in which you can almost hear hearts breaking and schemes brewing before Quon comes down and breaks the spell.

for me its gotta be the scene from rurouni kenshin where kenshin says goodbye to kaoru because he has to train in order to fight shishiyo makoto. so saaaaaddddd :cry: :cry: :cry:

Heh...several spring to mind!

The Asuka battle in EoE has always been a fave of mine, purely for its over-the-top-ness. Visually, the moment in Miyazaki's Laputa movie when the two kids get to their feet and look down on the garden had me gasping in amazement as a child and still does. The mobile fortress assault on Olympus in Appleseed is also a sight to behold!

In terms of emotional impact the closing moments of The Place Promised in our Early Days when Sayuri wakes up gets me every time. I'm a sentimental bugger deep down. :p

A lot spring to mind but I also loved the tachikoma vs armour suits scene at the end of first gig.You can almost feel the emotions.

I also love so many moments from the animatrix in particular.

I love in spirited away when haku tells chihiro "theyre lighting the lamps"and that she has to leave followed by a lovely piece of music.

Even the closing credits is sad,with all their dead friends say 'Harry' or 'Brandon'

I cry every time i watch it :(

I also love the final Wolfwood scene in Trigun.So beautiful and saaaad :(

Very truue, the ending for Wolfwood is cry worthy especially when they cut to Milly Thompson. So upsetting, you just don't see it coming, or you just don't want to see it coming.

Very truue, the ending for Wolfwood is cry worthy especially when they cut to Milly Thompson. So upsetting, you just don't see it coming, or you just don't want to see it coming.

that actually reminded me of the part where it goes to Vash and he's about to eat some doughnuts,but instead he just breaks down.Also from then on where you see him carrying the cross always gets to me...

Yeah its like he is carrying on Wolfwoods work in his place, I wonder if Vash emptied out all of Wolfwoods guns?
 
i can't remember the scene but i can remember how i feel when i think about the anime.... if i have to remember uhmmm....

2nd episode of kimi ga nozumu eien, the last part, when he bought mitsuki a ring and he was too late that haruka led in a coma and when he was crying... so sad but most of all the eps made me cry.. im such a cry baby...

another was NANA when Nana the rocker departed with her boyfriend to go to Tokyo and I just can't stand it because i'm bleeding to death inside...

lastly is the 1st ep of death note when he said something like he will be the god and will reign over the new world...
