I've played it since I can remember (5 years old?) and some of the greatest moments in my life have come playing the game (I scored 8 goals in one game, got on the back of the local newspaper with a color photo and headline!). I still play every Sunday and am considering taking it up on Saturday too.
For some people to say it takes no skill to play the game, boggles the mind. If you believe that, you should be playing in the Premiership earning £100,000 a week. It's a game that requires skill, coordination, fitness and strength - not to mention a cool mind under pressure.
You clearly have a passion for the game and therefore are actually speaking sense and logic unlike most people on this topic.
Football rules.
Never miss a skysports super sunday.
I don't know. I've already seen enough rugby and watching something that remotely resembles it just doesn't feel right.Vash said:what is it you find boring about it

I don't mind watching football when it's played well and appreciate the skill involved but the way the national and international game is organised and performed saddens me. Then there's the rioting and yobbish behaviour who give good fans (of whom I know many) a bad name. I'm not competitive by nature anyway so sport isn't that much of a big deal for me. *shrugs*[/quote
The way some people are talking about riots and bad fans is clearly unfounded.
Football these days is well organised and these riots your talking about are actually a rarity these days.(Except maybe in Italy)
And you really shouldint generalise footballers the way you did either because to be honoust its tripe.
Maybe I went over board but believe me when it comes to football I know what Im talking about.
Yeah that was a little how it was for me.TRASHBAT said:ooo netball >_< How i hated that at school. The rules never seemed to make any sense to me and i always forgot them.Ended up having to get the person closest to me to tell me where i could and couldnt go.
