Maybe i've been exposed to Engrish enough to not care but mispronunciation of words isn't really comical.

Yeah, in opposite land. To me the NERV logo was rather iconic and changing it just seems an odd choice.
 
As a person who has never watched EVA, what are everyone's thoughts on this, as isn't it a reworking of the original series, complete with a different ending?

Is it going to be sacrilege or an improvement? A companion to the original series or a replacement?
 
I agree with WTFDM, the new NERV logo isn't a good idea. The original logo was iconic and changing it doesn't seem right. I like the new SEELE logo, though!

Hmm, well, I suppose it will work as a "replacement", considering the trailers I've seen so far seem to indicate that everything that happens in the series happens in this movie too. I still reccomend seeing the series, though!
