Evangelion Platinum Thinpak

well, it's out in october, so there is plenty of time to save a few quids. I wish they release the red cross bookwith it...

That's not going to happen, because the Red Cross Book is related to End of Evangelion (which ADV don't have the rights to). The 64-page booklet that comes with it is cool, though. However, I dislike how ADV insinuates that EoE and the ending in eps. 25 and 26 are alternate, when they aren't.

I know it's EoE related. the fact it was sold with the movie originally gave me that hint =) Red Cross book is more like a pamphlet than a real book.

Matter of opinion. I think they are different, but that's a subject for another thread.

This box seems to be more cheaply packaged than the first one, which had a digipack inside instead of thinkpack cases, yet it's a tenner more expensive. I honestly don't think ADV have a clue any more.

Actually, the way I see, Eva seems to be the only profitable thing for ADV.

But when people can import the exact same thing from the US, minus the tin for £25-£30 including taxes? After this I imagine we will finally get what ADV should have released straight after the original tin, a bare-bones R2 collection that could have been making them money for the past two years.

I was able to pick up the R2 tin for £40 last year...Yeah that would of been nice but i would of said release it a year later to soften the blow to those only bought the tin because (at the time) it was the only way for them to get the platinum collection complete. Still i wonder why they only made the collections limited, surely a larger release would of sold better
