20th June 2011 now, at least according to Manga's PR company.

I've only noticed that today as updated, and previously it was 30th May.

No retailers have that new date yet though.

Not surprising, the US licensor (who's dub they'll need to use) hasn't even announced it yet.

It will probably get announced this weekend at Sakura Con or Anime Boston. Failing that, Otakon.
 
Manga have now confirmed this on Twitter.

Apparently this year has turned into something of a perfect storm, late dubs, delayed masters, and at the root of it the Earthquake in Japan knocking out the factory that produces most of the world's supply of HD CAM tapes. So Evangelion is delayed, Fairy Tail in 2012, and Rideback's slipped from June to August abd apparently Redline may be pushed back as well.

So yeah, bugger!
 
It's only three weeks, and it's not as if May will be Manga light as a result. Casshern Sins, Vampire Knight Guilty, Shikabane Hime, Gunslinger Girl Il Teatrino, Naruto Shippuden, and live action TGWLTT all being released.

I'm just glad that it gives me a little more time to watch 1.11 again, which I recently upgraded to Blu-ray
 
Of those I'll probably get Casshern Sins, but not straight away. £30 (after discounts) for the BD set? Oh dear.

Come to think of it, I haven't watched Summer Wars Yet. And Laputa BD is coming out in a couple of weeks too. I can wait for Evangelion, then, especially since the Funimation release is clad in that horrendous garish orange.

You mean it has the proper Japanese cover art, not the crap we got. Now the realease comes close to against Angel Beats, Katanagatari etc.
I'm only getting it due to the PAL dvd transfer, if I wanted the BD I'd have imported by now.

Actualy prefer covers that are plainer with just the title, maybe with a chatacter on them. Whole cover single screenshot, I don't like.
Hated our 1.11 cover to the original as well, also prefer the Summer Wars LE's cover.
