Blue Exorcist - Bon's Mirrors
Okay Bon, so you want to get the sunlight from the Vatican and send it to Japan (or was it the other way around? I can't remember) due to the 8 hour time difference. However, your idea of setting up mirrors through a secret tunnel between the two countries to transfer the light makes no sense because frankly, how long would it take you to set up enough mirrors in that tunnel? Exactly, it'd be day light in Japan anyway.

That's one that comes to mind instantly.

Gundam Seed, well more importantly Seed Destiny.
Mu La Flaga surviving Strike Gundam being blown up and coming back as Neo Ronanoke. Then there was Kira surviving Freedom Gundam being destroyed by Shin...Hell then there was the original version of the final battle where 'Team Kira' took no damage whatsoever really.

In a way I shouldn't of bothered putting spoilers, would of saved people the trouble of watching Seed Destiny. (For future refrence I recommend people staying away from it and treating it as if it was bubonic plague)

In fact gundam in general...I mean don't they put security locks on any of the gundams?

Tokko...The whole ending is a plot hole.

Can you imagine how differently most Gundam plots would have panned out if the Gundams were locked? I always presumed allowing untested kids to climb into the cockpit at any time was pretty much their recruitment strategy.

"No, let him go! We need pilots and we spent the training budget on the flashy paint job."

plot hole 1

wheres buu in trunks time line
Trunks time line is an alternate one where Buu didn't show up.
For all we know, the androids might have killed Babiddy before he freed Majin Buu.

dont forget debura he had him as a body guard and hes stronger then the andriods and he had yakon too. plus if the andriods of the current time line turned evil like there future counterparts the bobadi would of turned them to hes slaves,

plot hole 2

radditz said that planet vageta was destroyed by a cometbut later we find out freiza destroyed it, hell radditz even heard from nappa that freiza destroyed it before he came to earth

Well in Gundam 00 they had biometric security measures but they were immediately overridden when Ali steals one, so seems like it would be a waste of time :p

I don't understand how this thread is so quiet. Surely almost every anime ever belongs in here (or at least about 30%). That or maybe I just don't understand as much as I think I do.

It's because there are so many, most people have just thrown up their hands and said "hell with it" :p

Fullmetal Alchemist the Movie: The Sacred Star of Milos

So, Julia lost control after consuming a Philosopher's Stone. Well that's all well and good, except that in the main series, Kimblee often swalloed his Philosopher's Stones and was able to regurgitate them at will with no ill effects. Sure, one could argue that as Kimblee was an absolute nut case, that wouldn't have happened (like when he managed to retain his individuality even though Pride absorbed him). However, what about Ashley? He was just normal. I'd say his corruption was most likely a result of himself and his trauma, as opposed to the stone. Anyway, if the stone did take control of Julia, why didn't she become a homunculus, like Wrath?

Also, at the end of the film, Ed was still referring to the Philosopher's Stone as the Sanguine Stone (or whatever the residents of Table City and Milos used to refer to it as)

Someone didn't do their research.

Hah, Gundam Seed may of turned out better if they thought about it.

"Hey let's steal these machines...Oh wait...crap chip and pin...Oh well let's just loot stuff instead"

Plus with the power of some of these gundams, is letting an emotional teenager pilot it really the best thing? Way I see it, all the "good guys" (Mr Wong was still a douche in Zeta, no matter how you slice it) were lucky with the kids who found the gundams! Imagine if instead they just said "Let's blow stuff up" and went on a rampage instead of fighting the good fight?

@Animefreak, don't try to make sense of Dragonball Z's timeline and alternate timelines. There's just no way to do it. Plus I think Buu was the universal oddity in DBZ i.e. he only popped up in the main timeline.

Having typped that though, and in complete contradiction to what I said, I thought of a reason....Maybe there just wasn't that many people that Babbidi could of used to ressurect buu. There would of been Trunks...and that's it. Everyone else was dead of course.

Re: Errors, plot holes and stuff that makes no sense in anim

@BlackWolf

he could still be using humans energy lil by lil, if you remember babadi was shocked how much energy was in buus tank and he also ask dabura how many humans they got to get that much for buu,

look at it this way,
trucks was 6 when buu arrived
and the andriods appears in future trucks time line when he was a baby,

so lets say from the time the andriods appears ( trucks is a baby ) the andriods destroyed most of the population and when trucks turned 6 buu should of appeared but since no other fighterd was around babadi is probably slowly but surely getting energy from humans

Re: Errors, plot holes and stuff that makes no sense in anim

Also the other way to look at is, is maybe there just wasn't enough humans to get the energy from. It is made out that the Androids had their way with humanity after the Z fighters died (remember the date trunks gave them was when 17 and 18 were supposed to appear, indicating that everyone would of died then) There probably wasn't enough humans to rouse buu from his egg. The other way to just look at it is that buu only appeared in the main timeline anyway. Just like 16,19 and 20 only appeared in the main timeline. It's reasonable to say that, plus for all we know, it could of been trunks messing around in the timeline that brought babbidi to earth...Yeah, let's just blame Trunks for it :D

Re: Errors, plot holes and stuff that makes no sense in anim

end of the day, pan can and killed buu before he could do anything, then left the androids so she could hunt dragonballs in space

end of story
