First of all i don't know if i'm posting this on the right place, if not please move it.

Now my doubt:

I recently bought 4 dvd's of the series Fullmetal Alchemist. This ones:

Vol1:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Fullmetal-Alche ... 257&sr=1-9

Vol2:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Fullmetal-Alche ... 311&sr=1-1

Vol3:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Fullmetal-Alche ... 99&sr=1-13

Vol5:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Fullmetal-Alche ... 99&sr=1-14

They were all bought from the same seller on the site of amazon.co.uk. They were all listed as new and in fact, they were all shrik wrapped.
The vols 3 and 5 brought with them a little book named "Text Three" and "Text Five" respectively. But on Vol 1 and 2 there is no books.

So if someone here has this dvd's i would appreciate to tell me if there is books or not in the first two dvds.

Best regards

When these came out £20 for 3-5 episodes was still pretty much standard (although the FUNi distros were usually more like £16 IIRC)

[spoilers]Things are usually cheaper six years after they're released[/spoilers]

Also, OP. Go for the Half-Season sets. You can get them about 6 or 7 quid on eBay/Amazon and they include all the books :D

when they are out of print this is not necessarily the case - have you seen the going prices for the Gosick light novels?

The second parts of seasons one and two of the original FMA are still available on Amazon, the the first parts are not.

I think it would be more productive to directly answer the poster's question than tell him/her how to spend their money ^^

Unfortunately if the books are missing due to a manufacturer screw up, there's not much that can be done unless the Amazon seller can help. I have the R1s so don't know whether there were any known problems with v1 and v2 here.

I don't have an answer, at least not to hand ^^;
I only have one retail volume of FMA, and I got that because it had a tin since I wasn't really interested in the series at the time. I can check that when I get home.

That'd be volume 6. If I remember correctly, I only got booklets in DVDs distributed by Revelation (so 8-13).

EDIT: Just checked, only my volumes 11 and 12 had them.
