ds lite gone death half way on screen

my ds lite has gone touch dead on the screen half way on the screen and i wanna know how i can get in touch with nintendo and tell them that i will send them my ds for repair and how i can get it for free as i baught it on launch back in june 06

I have 2 friends whose DS's both messed up. THey both had to buy new and they had contacted big N.

You'll need to buy a new one mate.

But...now, this may sound stupid... but why sell your broken DS on eBay (you will sell it, i'm sure, you might not get much, but i'm sure you'll get something), then use that money to contribute buying a new one.
