ive been getting totally nostalgic about dragonball z since i got burst limit for my 360... just ordered the first remastered season box.... anybody got this and glad they did?

i havent seen it in YEARS!! i hope i still love it!

Got to get season 2 and 3 now. (not any further though.)

I've recently seen a bit of the manga and I'm remember they dragged a lot, but I can't remember any fillers (if you don't take into account GT at all ;D )

In the Dragonball Z anime the whole Garlic Jr saga was filler, as well as the otherworld tournament saga i think
 
actually, i'm not too fond of the remastered versions

they've taken out quite a few of the jokes they had in the broadcast.

Least the sub is good
 
I got both series 1 and 2 for Christmas and me and my brother watched them over again. Loved this show as a kid and still do :) so glad i bought them and so cheap too.

i got the first series for £20 including postage from ebay.... what price u get?
 
The best bit of DBZ is easily the Cell Games with Mister HERCULE SATAN and Caroni.

Its sad, but Caroni reminds me of someone I know (On that... So does Hercule!!)

The cell saga really was the pinnacle of DBZ. Sure you get the high ss levels etc, but the best fights and the best characters are all in the cell saga.

As much as i liked the final buu fight i've got to agree with you there :p Thinking about it that could of easily been the end point for the series
 
i agree, for me the cells games is the end of it for me... goku dies, the end. i like it... but i wouldnt say its the best saga, i loved the saiyan/garlic/frieza sagas. im totally old school lol
never really got into dragonball never had the chance really... but think im gonna pick up path to power and the last few sagas of dragonball wheres gokus an adult.

altho knowing me... ill probs not be happy until i have the complete collection... excluding gt ofcourse lol
 
GT's a great drinking game though

just take a swig each time you see a plot hole/mistake and u'll be through a 6 pack before an episode

Definatly. The best characters HAD to be, it had HERCULE!! and Caroni!!

Definatly. The best characters HAD to be, it had HERCULE!! and Caroni!!

They are only good because they hold the record for quickest defeat ever :p but props to Hercule for suriviing flying into a mountain side after Cell flicked him :lol:

Naw. Caroni is awesome because of his white-spandex jump suit :lol: And Hercule because he reminds me of my bands guitarist.
