Yeah, IIRC, originally Akira Toriyama wanted to end it at Freeza, but kept going.
Also, It's 'Freeza' :lol:

This is most likely a rumour started by dub fans due to the sudden drop in quality of the voice acting and no episodes cut, like in the Ocean dub.

Toriyama originally wanted to end it after the first adventure with Pilaf, but it was popular, so he continued it.

He says somewhere that he wanted it to go on much longer but he'd rather spend time with his family or something.

This is pretty sad news, I was enjoying the good dub! I'll still get all the DVDs in hope that they will do the Majin Boo arc...

It's possible they are just waiting for funds, it's being repeated on Fuji TV 2 an dubbed in over 5 coutries already, it'll probably spread... probably...
