Really stirring stuff; there really was nothing quite like Dragonball Z. That bit of music engenders everything the show felt like for me, communicating such a tangible sense of magnitude.

If this is real then YEAH BABY!!!! The Ocean and Blue Water dubs are my favourite. Please let this be released as there is no way to buy it! (I still managed to get some of the episodes though!

As long as Soctt McNeil is Piccolo and Brian Drummond is Vegeta then I'm happy!

I love the Japanese too and the Funi dub isn't bad but to me Ocean rocks it all the way!
This is one of the reasons why I prefer the Ocean dub!

Just listen to Brian Drummond scream. It's nuts!

I hope they bring Ted Cole back as Yamcha and Android 17--I thought he was absolutely stellar.

I'd love for Krillin to be voiced by the guy who played him in the Dragonball Blue Water dub; it was a nice and modest voice. Granted, the Blue Water and main Ocean voices don't cross over all that frequently--though it happened in Hikaru no Go--but I'd still like to see it happen in some instances.

Edit: And yes, with new voice direction, I would be thrilled to have Brian Drummond back as Vegeta. Not that I disliked his old performance--on the contrary, I thought it was splendid during the Boo arc--but I'd love to see if he could weave any new nuances into the character.

Tenchi Muyo was on Toonami?

but then again, this must've been around the time my brother was 3 or 4, so the TV was domninated by Nick Jr and i ended up missing alot of stuff back then :(

yep, was on Sci fi first, then it was one of the first anime shows along with DBZ on Cartoon Network before Toonami came along, then carried on

not that i could stand the opening or the fact they considered the OAV and Universe as 1 series

Thank you so much for uploading this. I loved this advert and thanks to you I've found the song in it after about 10 years.

Accidentally I lost a lot of the tapes from the Ocean dub of DBZ but I still have some of the Blue Water ones from the Android Saga!
