Hey guys! Does anyone shop at tokyotoys in centreal london? If so what have you guys brought from there? I have brought a tifa and aeries final fantasy 7 figures, a bleach string up bag, 3 naturo key rings, 2 types of pocky, a mouse mat,a bleach plushy and a naturo wristband! that was on saturday! so what have you guys brought from there?

I like going there but have never actually bought anything that I remember. The figures are nice but so expensive :(

If I was less happy buying from the internet I'd probably use them more. Or if the currency fluctuates so much more that their figures become bargains.

I have browsed their old and new store there, but it is quite expensive, seems aimed mainly at fans of Naruto, Bleach and other popular stuff.

They did have a Kemeko DX figurine I kinda wanted though, and a while back they had He Is My Master figurines I wanted to take home with me too! I prefer Orbital Manga and Forbidden Planet.

I placed an order through their website after seeing an advert in Neo. Of 4 items, 3 were out of stock and weren't going to come back in. I recognise that constant stock updates are difficult to manage but for three different items that's pretty shody. I definitely wont be using them for online orders again.

Just been to their website, but the only address I could find was in Lee... where are they in central london?

If you head to the Trocadero in Piccadilly Circus, and walk beside it down Shaftesbury Avenue, you'll see an escalator just after passing the Rainforest Cafe (before getting to the area parallel to Chinatown). That will take you up to Tokyo Toys. Next to the escalator on the ground floor is some kind of nondescript t-shirt/bag shop if I recall correctly.

The shop is actually inside the Trocadero but in a weird place. The escalator is the fastest way to get there on busy days.

weird places in London? there's no such thing :)

Thanks, will take a look eventually, although their online shop had a few intersting things, I didn't like the price tag on it. I do love my garage kits though, just wished I had more time to build them.

Was in there on monday, first time i have been there but couldn't afford to buy anything as I was christmas shopping at the time, but I have bought various key rings, models and clothing from them at conventions

I don't know where it is. I've been to Cyber Candy or whatever it's called, in Covent Garden, but it was a bit of a let-down, mostly Western sweets were being sold there when I got the impression it was purely a Japanese sweet shop.

The Japan Centre is what it's all about 8)
