Hmm, I was looking through Empire magazine and saw a picture from some Chinese (?) ghost movie with a scary-looking guy with writing all over his face. There are probably a lot of other places where all this has turned up, so I'm pretty skeptical...

Are you blind? Are you insane? David Tennant is far more attractive. She's uglier than Jordan, and that's saying something. Billie Piper has little talent and even fewer looks.
As for the Naruto influence thing? A coincidence. Actually, the runes on his face looks far more like those of the Elves in Lord of the Rings, as well as a number of other Western references. It's not related to Japan or Orochimaru. If you look in the right places you'll see similar runes on centuries-old depictions of Satan.
