Re: Digimon Adventure Tri: 6 parts, 1st Movie out on Nov 21

Well that explains the odd disappearance in the Spring line-up. I remember Digimon from my childhood like the movie and the stuff toys they used to sell. I guess I'll watch the new films when they get released.

I'm with NormanicGrav. I liked Digimon when I was a kid, so I'm kind of interested but I'm not massively into it. I much preferred Tamers to Adventure when I was a kid.

Man, this takes me back - I suppose this along with Pokemon was technically one of the first anime I ever watched - I remember I was in my final year of primary school and I'd rush home every day to watch it on CITV. I had the card game and everything.

The art style looks interesting - I suppose it's going for a more mature feel? The 'mecha' in the battle sequence in the PV reminded me of Gurren Lagann for some reason.

I loved the Dark Masters arc from the original series.

Re: Digimon Adventure Tri: 6 parts, 1st Movie out on Nov 21

I'm kind of sad, because as a kid I was more of a Pokemon guy, although I really did like Digimon, I never did keep up with it too much. Loved the designs and such, but never could stick with it chronologically, and never stuck to the episodes as far as I can remember. I think in that instance, feel as if I'm missing out on this announcement but it may get me to go back and watch Digimon again. I don't regret being into Pokemon, but I think Digimon looking back was the better series when it came to the animation, because when it comes to games, Pokemon is obviously king :p

So we can expect this to be a Garden of Sinners level nightmare to find to watch if Toei even mange that.

I'm not even angry any more. I'm now transcendent.

I'm at "my six mouths" levels of the mood that now takes me.

If this does get picked up to be dubbed, will be interesting to see who the recast are.

Re: Digimon Adventure Tri: 6 parts, 1st Movie out on Nov 21

If indeed a dub is in its future, then my wishes are but two: That Joshua Seth returns as Tai, and that Lara Jill Miller returns as Kari.

Re: Digimon Adventure Tri: 6 parts, 1st Movie out on Nov 21

Given the general way the US VA situation is, if there is recasts there is a very real chance Veronica "Ash Ketchum" Taylor could wind up in the cast somewhere.

That, gentlemen, is legit bonkers.
