Yeah the manga acts like a prequel to the third game, with the third volume being a retelling of the game itself. So nothing to do with the anime version at all

Glad to hear, I may check it out. I love DMC but the anime was a real let down, though I suppose the franchise has never been particularly original or substantial. I suppose I expected more because it was in Madhouse's hands.

Techincally they are light novels then proper novels as they have pictures every few pages or so :wink: Still wish Tokyopop had decided to finish off the manga instead of leaving it hanging
It's Devil May Cry, you stick to the games, the stories are shallow and non-existant and a manga thrives on story-telling which is what DMC severely lacks.CitizenGeek said:I always see this manga on the high-street, and it's always looked very cheap and unoriginal to me. I guess I was wrong though?
