I don't know how to single out a tweet or link to it, but someone asked Manga if there would be a UK release of Darker than Black S2.

The answer was "yes. Put it on your xmas list"
 
No real surprise there. BD or not BD, that is the question.

But given how much I love the first series, I might get Funi's LE (when they get around to releasing it).

It's not that big, but yeah, i was hoping they would release season 2. I'ev asked just now to see if they will release the OVAs with it at the same time, and i do hope they will, but we will wait and see, since in my opinion, you must watch the OVAs for S2 to make full sense.

The cherry blossom episode is already with the release of season 1 here, so that you already can watch. Kuro no Keiyakusha gaiden is the 4 episode OVA series i mean. It takes place between seasons 1 and 2, and essentially explains a lot of what season 2 is based around. It also, in my opinion, is better than season 2 overall, but that's just me.

Huh? Gaiden being better than season 2 seems to be the consensus of anywhere I've seen. It's also my personal opinion on it.
 
Reaper, when Arby says "but that's just me" he doesn't literally mean "I am the only person who holds this opinion".

When i said Gaiden was better than season 2, it is as ayase said, only implying that's how i saw it.

I don't follow "official" reviews or average scores much as i find they are usually wrong to how i see it. So i don't know whether or not i go against the overall opinion on it all. But that is a conversation for another day.
 
Reviews aren't for telling you how you feel, you decide that yourself. They exist to tell you what they felt... it's an opinion. Your prerogative to ignore them though.

Also, Reaper, Arby stated twice that it was his opinion in that post "in my opinion/but that's just me" and you still thought he meant otherwise? I love this forum.

Official review wouldn't seperate them, Gaiden is Gemini of the Meteor's DVD extras, not a seperate OVA.

It's the stating it twice that caused my responce, especialy both in the same sentance. It's almost like prefaceing a sentance with "Don't kill me but I think that"
 
I never mean it that way. I just get this bit sometimes when i write a message where i repeat myself, tis a bad habit but there we go.

As for official review, perhaps, but i mean official reviews in general. I don't mind them as much for movies/dvds, but when it comes to gaming, i avoid them all the time, they are unreliable. The user score bit i referred to kinda linked to MAL though, as they seperate OVAs despite them being DVD extras.
