Daisuke was found by a passerby with blood dripping from his wrists. He collapsed face down at 3.00pm. A knife and last will was found with him leading police to suspect suicide. Daisuke, real name Yoshio Nagahori, died 57.

Daisuke is known as the voice of Robin Mask in the anime Kinnikuman. He also played Umigame and Mr. Satan in the various Dragonball series as well as Dozle Zabi and Bask Om in the Gundam franchise. He was also the voice of Hiromi Yamazaki in Patlabor, Heihachi Mishima in Tekken. The Japanese Yosemite Sam in Looney Tunes was also voiced by him as was Edge Master from the Soul Calibur videogame.
