UK Anime Distributor Crunchyroll/Funimation/Manga UK Discussion Thread

I looked at MVM's website (anime-on-line), and I've noticed that My Hero Academia Season 5 Blu-ray (Complete Collection) is listed (possibly relisted). I wonder if that means that Crunchyroll had fixed the error regarding the 3rd and 4th discs.

As for Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, I assume the 4K release was never delisted, as it's still listed on anime-on-line, but I've seen that some territories had fixed discs with the Dolby Vision included, so I wonder if the UK release has the fixed discs.
The fix on Academia was amended a few months back, so any purchases now will have the fixed discs. Can't comment on DBS as I can't recall if that got recalled and fixed or as BrokenPhoenix mentioned, they simply corrected without mentioning.

Thanks for that. I'll definitely have no problems getting the complete 5th season of MHA as and when, but I won't take any chances on DBS: Super Hero just yet.

I am hoping for Crunchyroll UK announcements soon. I don't think the UK stuff is ever listed in their news items on the US site anymore; it either just shows up at MVM or AL's stores, or gets posted on the main site here which I assume is via a press release. AL's latest Crunchyroll listings are through January, with Blue Lock I believe being the last one, released yesterday. Anime-on-line has one release for 2 February, one for 9 February, and one for 30 March. I hope that isn't all there is for those two months.

With the recent sparse US slates and with the majority of UK releases being things released in the US, who knows anymore.

They announced new titles today which are now up for pre-order with Solo Leveling Season 2, Haikyu Season 2 and Possibly the Greatest Alchemist of All Time Season 1.

Nothing for me in that slate, but nice to see the announcements nevertheless, and with three (plus an LE) and the previously-announced Dragon Ball Super Broly steelbook, that's 4 (or 5 if you count the LE as a separate thing) which given the size of the US slates lately is probably about the best that can be expected.

I guess that leaves February with just two releases though.

As for US releases not (yet?) announced for the UK, I am interested in Headhunted to Another World: From Salaryman to Big Four! and as that's a January US release could still happen with how things lag behind sometimes, OTOH I could see that being one they skip for UK release as well, so I wait and see.

I see AL has these latest up for preorder now as well, but they don't have the February titles or DBS: Broly up.
