Yeah... Angel Cop lol

Oh yeah, forgot that one. I still think the first episode is pretty good, but it rapidly goes downhill into an extremely horrible mess. Plus the dub is diabolical.

i dont even remember what it was about, thats how good it was.

i remember back in the day i really wanted to like it as Guyver has just ended and i wanted to get into a new series.

I got three words for ya.....well....a letter and two words:

X the Movie

Dear sweet Robot Santa that was an awful awful movie. I watched it at an almost deserted AnimeSoc screening, and would probably have walked out had my ride home not been sitting there enjoying the damn thing.

It was lfeless, colourless, characterless, and the dialogue was flat as a pancake, I actually felt at times that maybe headbutting the desk until I passed out was a viable option in that case. I don't actively hate many anime, but X the Movie is always one that hits the list quite nicely.

The worst anime ever, in my opinion, has to be Salaryman Kintaro. Why? Its senseless. It has no good story plot, nothing unique and nothing that grips you. The story is about something like "Some motorbike gang leader wants to have a job because his wife died and he wants his kid to have a good future. So basically most of the episodes are him walking around trying to find a job - With a kid on his back." Its quite immature and stupid. Uh, but then again, when its selling for £5, I thought I might aswell try it :p.

Another one of my anime ego's is Lucky * Star. Its far to over rated, and its generally not funny. The jokes, most of the time, are pretty poor and I really can't see how someone would find these funny. Also, this anime has no real storyline concept, most of it is just slapstick 'comedy'.

Anyway, I found Heat Guy J ok. Sure, it wasn't the best anime I have ever seen, but its hardly the worst. I liked the animation, and the crazy bikes were awesome! The only thing I didn't like about it was J's sidekick (That amazingly skinny teenager type guy); He was generally annoying and I was strangely routing for him to be killed of within the second episode.

Although I haven't finished Saikano, so far, so good. Its a bit stretched out and the way they blush is very annoying, but other than that; Its a cool storyline and quite gripping.

Ugh.. I can't believe I'm doing this.

Its a "slice-of-life", otaku, comedy thing. Most of your synopsis doesn't really talk about what its meant to be doing, since it does what its meant to down to a tee. Its not slapstick comedy, And they don't really tell "jokes" in any sense of the word. Its all about "Hey, I do that", "MEGALOLZ, I know what this is referencing".

..Again, Ugh.. I just stuck up for Raki☆Suta. ;/ It annoys me, seriously.

TBF, you say most of the jokes in Lucky Star aren't funny, the reason is usually, A: your too young to get them (not because your not mature, but you weren't around at the time to get the relevence of them) or you don't get them because it's based at Japanese culture, not English or American.

I'd say unless your over 21, alot of the jokes would just fly over your head

The "shampoo" one for example, was a very popular shampoo around the globe at 1 point, and trust me, i can recall girls in school re-enacting the "timotei" advert just like Konata did

Can't remember that shampoo. Maybe the fact I didn't grew up in UK explains that... xD The packaging they use there resembles one my sister used...

I'd add that it's not only japanese, but also otaku culture. So if you are into anime for a couple months, maybe a year, you didn't see enough to get the jokes.

I havnt been into Anime for that long now, and i'm only 15, but i still enjoyed Lucky Star. It's got the sort of humour i enjoy. I cant understand some people dont like it or think its overhyped, etc, doesnt mean its crap.
People like me enjoy it, thats all that matters. I dont care if you dont like the animation or think its stupid.

But I'm going to go out on a limb and say you're either trolling, or flame-baiting, neither of which I'll succumb to.

Yep, that's exactly what DeathNote_Holder is doing.
I don't need your sarcasm smartass.

I wasn't being sarcastic. I'm in total agreement with youl; DeathNote_Holder is an irritating, flame-baiting, mindless troll.

I guess my over-use of sarcasm has it's downsides :p
Oh. Sorry dude. I do get sensitive in these kinds of topics.

I wouldn't be so snappy if a criticism launched at one of my favourite series had a bit of thought behind it. Again, I apologise.

I found Lucky Star boring, only survived a few episodes.
Dragonaut - The Resonance made my eyes bleed, 'tis just made of fail.
