Below is an (albeit small) first glimpse at the Cowboy Bebop Vol #1 DVD cover-art. Don't forget, the first volume for this classic anime series will be hitting UK stores on 22nd November (courtesy of Bandai Europe).

Unfortunately not, I tracked this image down at 'Pinnacle Vision' and then checked out a few other places but this was the only image I could find. Amazon aren't even listing R2 Bebop yet :(

The design seems cool although the text placement is slightly jarring. At least it's different to the R1 versions, something for the UK to call it's own! ;)

Hmm, I suppose though. CBB always striked me as a very cool, sophisticated & stylistic anime, and I really don't think this cover art does it much justice. It's a bit "crowded" if you know what I mean!

Nonetheless, who gives a **** about the cover when the series is so brilliant!

Isnt this cover the same that the Dutch (or some other European country) has?
Anyway I've found a bigger version of the DVD cover without the text and put a copy of it in the Forum album here.

I'm with Richy - a more minimalist look would probably suit Bebop better; something with the overlaid silhouettes of the opening credits would maybe have been more appropriate.

But I'm just glad that we're finally getting one of the most important anime series ever to the UK.

Whoa, what an ancient thread! :]

I have the two Cowboy Bebop sets that Beez released - they aren't any special features, which kind of makes it hard to justify the price (purchasing both cost me over €100) but it really is a great series

I remember the first time I saw the Cowboy Bebop DVD in the UK, I thought I was in a dream or my eyes were playing tricks on me, it was one of the first anime DVDs I bought along with Akira. Good times.
