Cowboy Bebop DVD releases.

For the first question, there are three discs to the collection, each covering half of the series (if I remember the disc split correctly) so the first box finishes at episode 13.

For the second question you are better off asking in the BEEZ discussion thread where Andrew Partridge from BEEZ may answer your question. (You could try reading that thread since this question has definitely been asked before).
 
If the discs included are the same as the single releases (and they probably are, too pricey to develop new ones), the first box will have episode 1-14 and the second will have 15-26.

I think the only difference with the remix is better audio, so you shouldn't worry about the differences unless you're a tech lover.
 
And more importantly for a student is it worth the money?

The R2 asks for quite a bit when you know you can get the R1 remix set 40 quid cheaper. But if money is no object for you, get the R2 to support our market.

Hi hi,

Saving some trawling the series is split in 2 for DVD boxed release (a more common method of release in France hence why it was done initially).

Box 1 goes to episode 13, the next goes to the end of series.

As to the value, I'm sure everyone has their own opinion on that :). I certainly have found myself watching episodes from Bebop time though!

Regarding the Remixes - I can neither confirm or deny right now - depends on the format we're talking really...
