This was a fun thread to scroll back through!

Back in 1996-ish I joined the Manga Video fanclub. I remember that one of the gifts they sent you was a free - free!! - cel from Akira. I think I sold it at some point between 2001 and 2005, as I went through a period of trying to not own many objects. In retrospect, this particular sale was irredeemably foolish. I'd love to have it on my wall now. And I dread to think how much it would sell for now!

(Lol, that's true of much of the manga and anime merch I bought in the 90s, and ended up selling in the early 2000s)

I have tried on numerous occasions to get Tosen but to no avail
