Hey all i have a chobits complete collection with the official soundtrack in an artbox. Its the region one release and its sealed.

Im wanting £50 for it shipped.

Anyone interested pm me.

Thanks.

Hey I'd be interested, but £50 is whaaaay too much. If you're talking about the Region 1 Thinpack, buying that new would be around £50 - so what's the gain?

well for starters it is sealed, and you get the official sound track. so it is brand new anyway round i guess.

Because it would cost me £10 to send and you also dont have to pay shipping and customs taxes which could be £30 if from the states.

£50 isn't expensive if it's sealed and includes postage & package, because the R.R.P is $99.99 which costs just over £60, but Animecastle has reduced it to $79.99, which is £50. Plus you have to pay for postage and packaging which means it will cost you over £50.

look at Otaku selling it for £56.99 + £2 postage & packaging ~ http://www.otaku.co.uk/cgi-bin/itemview ... mid=47399w

I would have been interested in buying it, but it sucks that I don't have a region 1 player >.<"

She might not even have to buy a new DVD player. Could be possible to do play any region on her current one.

Thanks for the rundown on the possible prices everyone!

I'm definately interested - but if I can get it for a maximum of £35ish, I really wouldn't pay £50 for it elsewhere.

Also, do you live in the US? Because if you'e in the UK, I'm pretty sure that the shipping would be no more than £3 -£4, correct me if I'm wrong....

http://www.dvdpacific.com/ShippingInfoDesc.asp + £1.88 shipping
http://www.oanda.com/convert/classic = £35.50

Customs would be £6.21 if you got caught out, making the overall total £41.71

Strawberry, there are some quite cheap multiregion players available. My local Currys has one for £20; next time I'm there I'll get details of it for you. :)

Its not £1.88 shipping :) Especially as multiple discs count as multiple items, and also you wouldnt really want items sending with not insurance or tracking at all. As for customs its a £4 charge plus 17.5% of the item cost plus the shipping cost, which is not £6.21.

Id only sent it special delivery, dont want to send something like that without proof, its how arguments get sorted.

You are right. I remembered the £4 flat charge before, but forgot to add it in the post. As for multiple discs, I forgot that too. That thinpak counts as 4 discs for shipping purposes.

Correction below. £50 is a reasonable price when you consider customs.

Actually they don't charge P&P for DVDs or CDs! The soundtrack is £9.99, with no P&P as well and honestly there does need to be an incentive to pay £50 when it doesn't cost a lot more in the shops! It is basically second hand, as you are the first owner and whether it's sealed or not, the buyer would be the secondary owner, therefore second-hand ^__^

So with the amount of people it goes through it must be about 5th hand by the time the shops actually get them, brand new and sealed is exactly what it says, brand new and sealed.

Plus the amount of stores over here who sell b-wrapped anime (returned and re-sealed anime) is quite high so i very much doubt you will be getting a "brand new" copy anyway.

As far as I'm concerned, sealed (not re-sealed) is for all intents & purposes new. Perhaps rather than saying new, say unopened, or perfect condition?

Still, I will endorse this as a fair deal in my opinion.
